Tim Berrners is
one of the most Important Inventions of the 20th century: the World Wide Web.
Berners-Lee
In London In 1955. At school, he was very good at maths, and he
to study physics at Oxford University.
While he was there, he built a computer from an old television!
Later, Berners-Lee
computer companies in Britain and Switzerland.
He often needed to
quickly with other physicists, so in 1989 he invented a system for linking all the information on the Internet. He called it the 'World Wide Web'.
