AN INTERESTING JOB
David Ross joined the police force when he was 23. He's a detective, that means he doesn't wear a uniform. His job is hard but interesting. He doesn't work from 9 to 5 every day. For example, yesterday he started at 2 o'clock in the afternoon and finished at 11.30 at night. Yesterday evening he was at a football ground, and yesterday afternoon at a school. He often goes to schools and talks to the children. yesterday he talked about the life of a policeman, road safety and other important things. The children enjoyed his visit because they saw some films and also they played with the radio in his police car. Today he is at the airport with a hundred other policemen. They are waiting for Michael Jackson, because when he arrives at a place there are always hundreds of young girls and boys there, too.
